Dino Discovery

Brush away the sand,
explorers!

A whole dinosaur is sleeping under the dirt.
Daisy is watching โ€” she knows who's down there.

Daisy the Diplodocus, a friendly young dinosaur with sage-green skin and big amber eyes, standing beside the dig.

Brush gently โ€” fossils are shy!

A Diplodocus fossil skeleton resting in the excavation pit, revealed as you brush.

About this prototype

This single page tests Harbor House's new premium animated-film art direction: a generated, dimensional Daisy brought to life with motion clips inside a layered jungle scene โ€” while the excavation stays genuinely, physically interactive. Brush with a finger, a mouse, or the hold-to-brush button.

Prototype build 5 ยท progress scored by fossil visibility

What to try

  • Brush the pit โ€” really drag, don't tap. Watch Daisy at 25%, 50% and 75%.
  • Leave mid-dig and come back โ€” your dig is remembered on this device.
  • Finish the fossil for the full reveal and your Junior Paleontologist badge.
  • Try Calm mode (top right) or your device's reduced-motion setting.

Honest notes

  • Daisy is a generated character animated from a still portrait โ€” she performs three acted clips (idle, reaction, celebration), not free 3D motion.
  • The jungle is layered artwork with real depth parallax, not a 3D world.
  • The dig, the progress, the badge and the memory of your visit are fully real.

Harbor House Children's Museum is a fictional demonstration. This prototype collects nothing and books nothing โ€” your dig progress lives only in this browser, on this device.
